Managing Behavior Analyst
Maggie Hackett works as the managing behavior analyst for Trellis Services in the Hunt Valley region. Maggie began her career with Trellis Services in 2012, working as an early intervention instructor for the autism waiver program. During her undergraduate studies, acting as an intern at the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, Maggie was largely involved in adult programs, social skills, and vocational training programs. Through this experience, she fell in love with the world of ABA and the field of autism support. Subsequent to receiving dual bachelor’s degrees in interdisciplinary health services and autism behavioral sciences from Saint Joseph’s University in 2014, she began working at the Trellis School, a non-public learning environment for children with autism and other communicative disorders. While working at the Trellis School from 2014-2019, she held multiple positions and roles, supporting students in kindergarten to 12th grade. At Trellis Services, she furthered her passion in the field of autism education and applied behavior analysis, going on to receive a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, with emphases in behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorder, at Ball State University in 2018. Maggie is a member of both the Association for Behavior Analysis International and the Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis.
“One thing I love about ABA is seeing the look of pride and confidence on a client’s face when they finally achieve a goal we have been working on. The journey is often eventful, but their pride and success make every second worth it!”
