Assistant Clinical Director, Columbia
A board certified behavior analyst and licensed behavior analyst in the state of Maryland, Lauren Bender serves as the assistant clinical director at Trellis’ Columbia location. Prior to joining Trellis, Lauren was a special education teacher and curriculum, instruction and assessment coordinator in the Kennedy Krieger Schools’ Fairmount and L.E.A.P. programs. She earned a master’s of science degree in severe disabilities, with an additional Graduate Certificate in Teaching Students with Autism and Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders, from Johns Hopkins University, in addition to a Graduate Certificate in ABA from the Florida Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts, Association for Behavior Analysis International, and the Maryland Association of Behavior Analysts.
