Do you cringe at the thought of a life tied to a desk, preferring hands-on work that gets you up and moving? If so, we have great news to share with you.
Trellis is hiring both full-time and part-time behavior technicians (BT) to work in the Forest Hill part of Harford County.
This entry-level position lets you spend your day helping kids with autism build new skills,
while bringing home a paycheck and gaining valuable experience in one of the fastest-growing fields in healthcare.
What, exactly, does a behavior technician do?
Behavior technicians receive fully paid training to use a form of play-based therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), to help children with autism learn communication, social, play, and self-help skills. Then, when you’re ready to work in the field, a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) will oversee your work—and guide and support you every step of the way. With a tablet and toys at your side, you’ll provide ABA therapy in each child’s home and community, while creating long-lasting, positive change for your client’s entire family.
